Potential:
The objective of the management of Gumboot Productions is to produce entertaining and compelling programming of consistently superior quality and socially significant thematic content, presented on media which is consistent with the target audience.
We want to integrate conventional film and video production with the production of interactive multi-media content. There are two opportunities for Gumboot Productions to expand: technical growth by undertaking new and innovative technologies for various media; and financial growth by developing a self-sufficient capital base from which to underwrite new projects.
To achieve these inherent opportunities, the Company requires an influx of additional capital, either debt or equity. In the short term, sufficient cash flow exists to warrant debt leverage of the corporate plan; and in the long term, equity participation is the option preferred by the owners.
The company is therefore seeking to raise working capital and will entertain a variety of ownership and profit sharing arrangements.
Gumboot Productions has enjoyed positive relationships with partners such as The Knowledge Network, The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Rogers Telefund, The National Film Board of Canada, B.C. Film, the Women’s Television Network, Telefilm Canada, and Vision TV.
Gumboot Productions has many strategic advantages, including:
1. Small infrastructure and negligible overhead.
2. No significant debt.
3. Broad media experience.
4. Diverse project and flexible technology base.
5. Strong reputation within the industry.
