My Son the Pornographer
Synopsis
My Son the Pornographer is essentially an exploration of values through a dialogue between a father and a son.
Art Holbrook and Kole Kerr are father and son. They are not related by blood or legality but by a commitment of love and understanding, however imperfectly expressed, that has endured since Kole was four years old. As the film begins, they have not seen each other since the funeral of Kole’s mother five years ago. The renewal and reaffirmation of their bond takes place within an uncomfortable set of circumstances. Art travels to Prague, Czech Republic, where he finds that Kole is working in the pornography industry.
